A-Z Atari 8bit Vertical Shooters in 18 Minutes. 60+ Games

A-Z Atari 8bit Vertical Shooters in 18 Minutes. 60+ Games

We’ve combed through our archives of magazines, Public domain software, Atarimania. Fandal.cz, The HomeSoft Library, and Mobygames to find as many vertically scrolling shooters as we can. This list includes not just flying shooters, but run and gun and at least one driving game. It also includes Zaxxon perspective shooters. It does NOT include multi-directional scooters or single screen Galaxian type games that just have a moving starfield.  Those will be covered in another video.

Let us know if we missed your favorite or a game you created and we’ll add it to an addendum video.
