One response to “Long Play: Five Disk Based Games On An Atari 800XL”

You sure chose the right word when you called the Adventure Trilogy “interesting.” It appears to be a compilation of three previously released Cosmi games. I didn’t even know such a thing existed. I can’t help but to wonder if the collection was even legal! Maybe the games were legitimately licensed from Cosmi, but knowing the Wild West nature of the early home-computer years, maybe not!
(I can’t quite read the name of the company that released the Trilogy — it looks like there’s a logo or something in the lower-left corner of the box front. Celery Software, maybe?)
Forbidden Forest is better in its original version for the C64. The other two are better on the Atari.
PCS is a classic on any platform. And that blue book on your 1050 is one I absolutely DEVOURED back in the ’80s. If only I’d had the patience to properly learn Assembly back then!
Thank you for another great video! This was a lot of fun to watch, as usual.
