Nine more Mochi Games Reviewed Based In Initial Impressions
I need to pick up the slack a little bit. Here are my capsule
reviews on the 9 games currently on the “Latest” game page in the Mochi
if I can, I will make this a semi-daily event. Take these with
a grain of salt as I only play each for about 5-10 minutes. Usually
that is enough though (god help me).
Pop bubbles with a cross-hair that accelerates toward the
Impression: I couldn’t pop
one bubble. Judging from the high
scores, others could though.
C : Unique take, good atmospheric music, adequate
visuals but weak game play.
Bear & Bees
You are a bear, in a tree, supported by balloons and you get the to
shoot a musket at bees, and collect honey.
Impression: I thought it was
going to be a tower defense game, but it turned out to be a nice arcade
B+ : A very fun, clever arcade game. I’ll definitely go back
and play this one.
A Chinese doll platform game with Super Mario Galaxy 2-d like play.
done, with some nice game play ideas, but a little repetitive.
B- : Enjoyable graphics, unique idea, but no real lasting appeal for me.
A simple matching game for kids with a very sweet theme.

will what to play this one with me. I wouldn’t play it without him
B. High Quality, nice graphics and presentation, but still just a
Move red sphere, around maze, get to plus sign. Watch out for lasers.
Impression: Let’s be frank,
it isn’t much to look at, and it was probably done in 2 hours, but it
C- . Poor visuals, no sound, weak layout, but an OK
game play for a very simple idea. Below average with promise though.
Colored balls or squares fall from the sky in groups of 4
(connected) and land in a pile. Destroy 3 connected of same color.
Impression: Well presented,
unique idea for match 3 with nice physics.
B. I like the overall effort. Screen shaking and bombs add
something extra. 180 levels!!!
Defend your town from the invading bears intent on stealing their
Impression: Cute defense game
where you actually do the shooting. An arcade / strategy mixture.
B. Good Quality all around, sounds and music got a little annoying
Classic Snake – eat treats, grow and don’t touch self (phallic
Impression: Snake is decent
version of the classic. Nothing new here, but good in its classic
C : We’ve seen it before, but I love the simple visuals and
play. The Bravado of the icon reminds me of 2600 cartridge boxes.
Use a sling shot (off screen?) to keep a can in the air.
Impression: A very basic
concept combined with a decent overall presentation
C : Seen it, done, it, wrote one like it, but I still played it a few
times. It’s no CronusX,
but for Facebook it might be pretty good.
