Powerdrift was released into the  arcade by sega in August of 1988 and then quickly ported the The Amiga, ST with an STe blitter upgrade built in, C64, Speccy, MSX, CPC. DOS, TG16 and finally the Sega Saturn 10 years later.  It’s an odd cart style racing game with A LOT of sprite scaling that was going to be difficult to port to computer and game systems of the time.
